My Commission Mission
Think about how your experiences have shaped your emotions and stories. I want my sculptures to affirm those emotions and stories and believe they are incredibly important, as they connect us to ourselves and others.
Having things in your home that remind you to embrace your story is a powerful act of self-love. I believe there is a creative energy in handmade objects that cannot be duplicated, and that art can speak to your soul in a unique way every time you look at it. I design commissions as a visual bridge intended to deepen your connection with yourself.
Embracing the Collaborative
A commission is a unique opportunity to work with me to create a visual reminder of your story. I encourage and welcome collaboration in my commissioned work. It provides me the opportunity to more deeply understand the needs and vision of my client while engaging my client in the creative process. I strive to create a piece of art that brings our collective ideas to fruition.
Commission Process
Every commission is unique, but they all begin with a conversation. Maybe you are interested in a piece which is similar to one of my existing sculptures with a few modifications, or you have a completely new concept in mind. Feel free to contact me to arrange an initial conversation about your ideas.
I believe in ongoing communication with my clients. Once we establish a direction, I provide updates and photos of the work in progress. I have had clients who want to be completely surprised. Every commission is different, but we can discuss your preferences during our initial conversation.
